Giving Teens a Place to HANG OUT!

Reported in the Washington Post, two members of the prolific rock band The Who have announced a new charitable program to help teens and young adults suffering with cancer. Roger Daltry, Peter Townsend, and other celebrity rockers (Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin) have committed to renovating wings of existing hospitals to accommodate communal spaces for teen patients aged 15 – 25. They will start with the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Centre.
