Surrounded by children of all ages, Michelle Obama, National Geographic Kids, and over 450 local Washington kids went to the South Lawn of the White House to break a Guinness world record for the most people doing jumping jacks around the world in a 24-hour period. The effort is part of the First Lady’s Let’s Move Initiative, endorsing lots of exercise and healthy eating.

So far, almost 21,000 people jumped for one minute all over the globe to achieve the new record.

The White House event went well, however, Mrs. Obama was nearly mobbed, and she was one of the only ones really jumping, while everyone else was smiling at the cameras!
