Hold Off on the Sports & Energy Drinks

Research published in Pediatrics notes that young adults should not drink energy and sport drinks as they lead to obesity. Energy and sports drinks are full of sugar and calories, as well as loads of caffeine.

They can also take a toll on the wallet……

If you truly are an elite athlete, or are in fact involved in all-day sports, one energy drink may help you – but otherwise – stay clear. Enjoy a lot of water, a glass of milk, or soy milk.
